Pre-College Program

The goal of Pre College is to inform high school students on what STEM is, spark interest, and ignite a long term passion. During this one day event, high school students will take a tour of the UIC campus, with an emphasis on the science and engineering buildings. Students will learn how to lead a team. Participate in a “career fair”, instead of companies, there will be STEM student organizations and resources that UIC has to offer. This event is also an ideal time for high school students to ask whatever questions they have about college life to the college students. Lastly, this event will cover information about FAFSA and college admissions that is essential to every student.
